By Richard Menta 8/26/07 The iPod Shuffle has been such a good little volume play for Apple that it has draw quite a few back to the really tiny portable market. San Disk is the latest announcing the Sansa Clip, a not-so-basic unit that throws in an OLED display and an FM tuner for the price. A dollar figure, mind you, that still undercuts the spartan shuffle's $79 price point. The Sansa Clip will offer a 1GB unit for only $40, comparable to Creative's screenless Zen Stone. A 2GB unit is also offered for $60. The units will ship in September in pink, blue red, and black. |
