Samsung YP-Z5F

By Richard Menta 4/09/06

Back in February we covered Samsung's announcement of the YP-Z5, its iPod nano competitor. The unit looked pretty good, but now it is looking a little better with the addition of a few more features unavailable in the iPod.

The new player is the Samsung YP-Z5F, the "F" representing the addition of an FM tuner and a voice recorder. Those features really aren't anything special, most non-Apple players have them, but they can be quite useful. Of course, Bluetooth capability or an 8GB flash top-end would be more interesting, but we'll work with what we get. If you want the former, Samsung has the SBH-300.
