By Richard Menta 2/22/06 Apple sent out the teaser yesterday that they will be unveiling "Fun New Products" next week. This latest invite did not offer any hints as to what the press might expect for this junket. Just a calendar with Feb 28 on it and the line about new products. So, let us speculate? Could this be the introduction of the latest iPod video with widescreen? Maybe it will be their own branded MP3 phone or a media center Mac Mini with an iPod jack on the top? |
Or maybe it will be an iPod that supports HD radio, a technology that has begun a $200 million marketing push to promote the several hundred radio stations that already employ the technology?
Hmmm, an HD Radio iPod.......interesting. That feature would certainly trump the poor FM tuners on most MP3 players these days.
My bets are on the iPod Zeppelin - air travel in white with giant earbuds serving as the ship's guide lines.
